At Georgetown

Earth, 2012 by Denise Milan

I am in the United States, in Georgetown. On May 25, the sculpture “Earth” will be launched at Georgetown University and in this month of April Professor Naomi Moniz begins to teach the course on the Language of Stones at the same University, a work that I have been developing for eight years. Isn’t this something to be proud of?

This is what I believe in:

The blue stone egg — a prophet of unity within diversity

evoking our common origins
to envision a reunion of man and nature
providing a common language
where diversity translates to richness treasured and protected
freeing us to see Earth — one big blue stone!

SP-Arte 2017

I will be at SP-Art 2017 from April 6-9 at booth B3 in the Lume Gallery. The fair is more vibrant each year, more cool galleries, more movement, more of that cultural buzz that makes São Paulo such an exciting city to live in! Don’t miss coming and discover or (re) discover. It will be held at Ibirapuera Park, check it out here:
